G.I.M.P. Brushes

Have you ever seen stunning Chinese Bamboo paintings? They are simple, but still amazing. They inspired me to create this set of bamboo leaves and shoots

GIMP Bamboo Brushes

There are 29 parts of bamboo converted with GIMP 2.2 in this set, so you can design your own little forest. I guess all you need now is a Giant Panda :) If those brushes are too big for you, just check out the latest GIMP 2.4 version! You can resize your brushes now :D

How to add brushes to GIMP?

Those brushes are for GIMP application. They have .gbr extension and they won’t work with Photoshop. If you are looking for Photoshop brushes, just search within the Photoshop Brushes category.

    Hmmm, never heard for GIMP till today when I was searching for bamboo related blogs. Being a bamboo nut I may just have to download GIMP and your bamboo brushes and see what I can create.
