Now you can also have Grunge Brushes in GIMP 
Who wants to design something grunge? Those brushes may be your little helpers ;). You may use them everywhere for either private or commercial purpose. This pack contains nine brushes created with GIMP 2.2 and every one of them have at least 450px.
Before you use hawksmont brushes, please read the terms of use.

Those brushes are for GIMP application. They have .gbr extension and they won’t work with Photoshop. If you are looking for Photoshop brushes, just search within the Photoshop Brushes category.

Thank you for the use of your brushes in GIMP. I warn you, the website posted is glitters. ugh. But, hey, I had fun making them and learned a lot about layers.
hehe, I grew up in a grundge world. I may have a use for them. I don’t have any art up at devart, but I’m there, as are you. I’m still trying to get comfortable with the community.

how are u supposed to use them..if u download them how do u use them in gimp??

how do you add the brushes ?

To add brushes, you unzip the download files, open up the GIMP FOLDER, and find brushes(it is in one of the folders but I am not sure, just search around) and then drag the downloaded brushes into the GIMP brushes folder. Just like you would a font for your PC.

To get to GIMP brushes folder: open C drive>Program Files>Gimp>share>gimp>2.0>brushes
